Emirates National Oil Co. (Enoc), the UAE petroleum company engaged in crude oil production and LPG processing, has announced the appointment of Saeed Abdullah Khoory to the position of chief executive officer. Khoory takes over from Hussain Sultan, who retires as the group chief executive, a position he has held since the company was established 35 years ago. Commenting on the new appointment, Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, the vice chairman of Enoc, said, “On behalf of the Enoc board of directors, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Saeed Khoory to the Enoc family. With a solid 28 years’ experience in Adnoc [Abu Dhabi National Oil Co.], Khoory is an expert in both upstream and downstream activities in the emirates and is well placed to be a strategic implementer for Enoc’s growth.”
