Hamad al-HasawiKuwait-based Gulf Holding Co. (GHC) has appointed Hamad al-Hasawi as the deputy chief executive officer. With 22 years of investment management experience behind him, al-Hasawi has worked in such diverse areas as project identification, business development, market relations, contract negotiation, privatization, investment valuation and project finance. Prior to joining GHC, al-Hasawi was the head of the corporate finance and direct investment division of Kipco Asset Management Co. and was responsible for origination, valuation, structuring and listing of private companies. He contributed to the establishment of private equity funds, real estate funds, bonds and high yield funds, and private placements.
