Sanjay KhoslaMarch - Kraft Foods Inc. has named Sanjay Khosla as the president of Kraft International Commercial, succeeding Hugh Roberts, who retired after a 31-year career with the company. Khosla joins Kraft from New Zealand-based Fonterra Co-operative Group, where he had been managing director of its consumer and food service business, Fonterra Brands, since 2004. As president of Kraft International Commercial, Khosla will be responsible for the company’s $11 billion business outside North America and will be based at Kraft’s headquarters in Northfield, Illinois. Before joining Fonterra, Khosla had a 27-year career with Unilever in India, England and Europe, culminating in his roles as the senior vice president of Global Beverages, and chairman of the Unilever beverages category board. Khosla graduated with honors in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. In 1998, he completed the Harvard University Advanced Management Program. Khosla reports to Irene Rosenfeld, the CEO of Kraft. Kraft Foods is a leading cheese manufacturer and the second largest food and beverage company in the world.
